This Code of Conduct applies to all participants, crew members, judges, volunteers, staff, and visitors at Unbreakable.

Our Values

• Respect – Treat everyone with dignity and respect, regardless of gender, age, origin, religion, sexual orientation, or ability.
• Fair Play – Compete and participate with integrity, honesty, and sportsmanship.
• Creativity & Expression – Encourage individuality, creativity, and positive expression.
• Community – Support one another and help build an inclusive and welcoming dance culture.

Unwanted Behaviour

Unbreakable does not tolerate:

• Harassment, bullying, or intimidation — verbal, physical, or online.
• Sexual harassment or unwanted sexual behaviour or touching.
• Violence or threats of violence.
• Discrimination of any kind.
• Deliberately damaging property.
• Any other behaviour that makes others feel unsafe, threatened, humiliated, or unwelcome.

If Something Happens

If you experience or witness behaviour that concerns you, you do not have to deal with it alone.

1. Talk to someone

You can speak to a crew member, staff member, or our clearly identified Trusted Contact Person.

During event hours, our Trusted Contact Person is available to listen, provide support, and help you decide what to do next.

You do not have to submit a formal report before asking for support.

2. Submit a report

You can report a concern in different ways:

Informal report

You can speak directly to a Trusted Contact Person, crew member, staff member, or someone from the organisation. They can help connect you with the appropriate person for further support or follow-up.

Formal report

You can submit a written report through our online reporting form:

You may choose to provide your contact details or, where possible, submit the report anonymously. Please note that anonymous reporting may make it more difficult for us to ask follow-up questions or provide updates.

3. We review and follow up

Every report is taken seriously and handled with care and as much confidentiality as possible.

Depending on the nature and seriousness of the situation, possible measures may include providing support, separating people involved, removing someone from the event, investigating the situation, referring the matter to the appropriate organisation or authority, or taking further action where necessary.

We will handle information only with those who need it to appropriately respond to the situation, subject to applicable legal and safeguarding obligations.

No Retaliation

No one should be disadvantaged, threatened, or treated negatively for raising a concern or making a report in good faith.

If you are worried about possible retaliation, please mention this when speaking to the Trusted Contact Person or in your report.

Danssport Vlaanderen

Where applicable, violations may also fall under the regulations and disciplinary procedures of Danssport Vlaanderen, including its specific disciplinary regulations concerning grensoverschrijdend gedrag (GOG).

The applicable regulations depend on the persons involved and the nature of the situation.
